Symptoms:

 

Tension headaches are the most common and are characterized pain over the head by muscle tension in the head, neck, shoulders, and face.

Triptans: these work by attaching serotonin receptors to veins and nerves to reduce inflammation and constrict blood vessels.  These are useful for migraines.  Common side effects are tightness around the throat and chest and tingling skin.  Also drowsiness, fatigue and dizziness may occur.  Major cautions are a serious risk of heart attacks and strokes as they constrict arteries to the brain and the heart.  They also deplete vitamin B2 (riboflavin).
